Another Branch On My Trainer Tree
When I founded the largest private dog training company in the United States, PAWSitive Solutions, I had trainers that I had trained in my specific style and process of training all over California, from San Diego to Sonoma. One of those trainers was Jill Bowers who was one of my best and most trusted trainers. Jill worked in Los Angeles.
Later when I decided that I missed working with individual clients and their dogs, I helped many of these trainers start their own companies. Those who did quickly became recognized as some of the best trainers in their communities. Jill took this route and started her company, Thank Dog Training which has been growing at a steady rate ever since, and last year Jill needed another trainer and hired her sister, Jamie to help with her increasing work load.
Jill trained Jamie herself, and while I'm still very involved with them and work with them in Los Angeles often, Jamie successfully employs the techniques she has learned from Jill who gained her initial knowledge and experience from me. Jamie gets rave reviews from her clients, and I'm proud of both Jill for having the skills and abilities to pass on the method to Jamie and of Jamie for being equally successful. It's a great feeling to see the knowledge passed down to another branch of trainer.
